An ode to Lisa

An ode to Lisa

Big owl eyes
And teeth that chatter.
That's
What I like about you.

Broom corn hair,
That the sunshine bleaches,
Loud harsh voice
With cat bird screeches.
That's
What I like about you.

Great big ears,
Always flapping.
Big buck teeth
Over lapping.
That's
What I like about you.

A wagging tongue
That never has paused.
Two skinny hands
That look like claws.
That's
What I like about you.

A silly smile
And cow like hips.
Humped-backed shoulders
And jelly hips.
That's
What I like about you.

Great big mouth
With a bubble-gum chew.
Two big feet
But only one shoe.
That's
What I like about you.

Big swelled head
Tattered clothes.
Pipe stem neck,
With a bubble nose.
That's
What I like about you.

You're and awful mess,
And I know it's true.
But I can't help
A loving you.
That's
What I like about you.
